The Wisconsin Rapids Board of Education approved a contract with Pinnacle Performance Therapy to provide physical-therapy services for district students with individualized education programs (IEPs) at a cost of $85,000 for the 2025–26 school year, to be funded from the district’s special-education budget.
Steve (district staff referenced by the presenter) said Pinnacle will provide licensed physical therapists who will deliver services two days per week with flexible scheduling to meet students’ needs. The board noted the vendor is local and that contracting with Pinnacle is expected to produce some savings compared with the prior arrangement.
The contract was recommended by the Personnel Services Committee and was approved by the board without amendment.
