The Wisconsin Rapids Board of Education approved a three-year renewal of EduCLIMBER, a data platform from Renaissance, at an upfront cost of $70,500 to be funded from the 2025–26 curriculum technology referendum budget.
Roxanne Filz (presented in committee as director of teaching and learning) described EduCLIMBER as a centralized system that consolidates academic, behavior, social–emotional and attendance data to support data reporting across grades. The district explored alternatives and concluded that EduCLIMBER offered the most cost-effective solution, Filz said; Renaissance will also provide individualized staff training at no extra cost and ongoing professional development, both in-person and virtual, tailored to each building’s needs.
Committee members recommended renewal; the board voted to approve the contract renewal as presented.
