Ashland County Chamber: 40,000 visitor guides ready to distribute

A representative of the Ashland County Chamber of Commerce told the Work and Renovation Committee that the chamber has produced new visitor and activity guides and will distribute approximately 40,000 copies countywide.
The guide covers attractions and communities across Ashland County, from Madeline Island to Copper Falls and from Butternut to LaPointe, the representative said. The guides are the chamber’s fulfillment piece and are mailed to people who request information from county offices, the chamber and the Northwest Wisconsin tourism committee (ITBEC).
"We have our new Ashland County visitor guides available, and we'll be sending them all over the county," the representative said. She added the guides are used widely for visitor information and that the chamber expects heavy demand given anticipated winter recreation.
