Strauss said Kelly will replace Steven Huber; staff noted Huber had approximately two years remaining on his term and that Kelly is expected to fill the remainder of that seat.
Commissioners discussed term lengths and asked staff to prepare a single resolution that would record both appointments and specify the precise term expiration dates. County staff agreed to confirm the remaining term length for the seat Kelly will fill and return a resolution for inclusion on a future consent agenda.
The board moved and seconded the appointments and approved them by voice vote. Commissioners noted the housing authority’s work is timely given local demand for affordable housing and that representation from community banking could be useful on the authority.
