Council members noted the equipment purchase will be paid from the county’s perpetuation fund and that the new technology should reduce gaps in satellite coverage and improve the county’s ability to maintain corner markers and cadastral records.
A motion to approve the appropriation passed on a roll‑call vote recorded in the meeting as 6‑0.
