Mono County—s Health and Human Services on Jan. 21 introduced two promoted supervisors in the social services division and described outreach current and planned for Spanish-speaking residents, including a legal "Know Your Rights" presentation set for Jan. 25 in Mammoth Lakes.
Deputy Director Michelle Rousen introduced Cynthia (promoted from eligibility specialist/integrated case worker) and Laura (promoted from child welfare social worker) as supervisors in the Eligibility and Employment Services and Child Welfare divisions. Rousen said the Eligibility and Employment Services division serves more than 6,000 residents annually through medical enrollment, CalWORKs and CalFresh.
