Commissioners said the repairs responded to repeated safety concerns; staff noted one employee had previously tripped on the uneven steps. The project will be paid from the county’s general fund and courthouse facilities account.
What’s next: JES Foundation Repair will begin work per the contract schedule; the county will pay a deposit per the contract terms and release the remainder upon completion and inspection.
