Hillsborough Schools earn Bell Seal Gold for workplace mental health

Pattis Patton said the Bell Seal program, which has certified organizations since 2020, recognizes workplace culture, mental-health policy and wellness practices. She noted the district moved from silver to gold between last year and this year, and described the certification as an acknowledgment of district efforts to support employee mental health and resilience.
The presentation cited the Bell Seal program's national reach and described the district's workplace efforts in mental-health supports and compliance. The board received the recognition as an informational item; no board vote was required.
