Board approves Frontier Academy calendar, new courses, hires and student travel requests

Personnel actions approved included offers of contracts for multiple positions for 2025‑26 (Spanish interpreter/translator, ELA and social studies teachers, welding instructor, social worker, counselor and others) and the board voted to offer a contract to Robin Johnson as Willow Creek Elementary principal for 2025‑26.
All items were advanced by voice vote with “Aye” recorded and no “Opposed” responses noted in the minutes. Several trustees asked clarifying questions about instructor certifications, student age limits for CDL licensing and calendar sequencing before voting; those clarifications were addressed by administrators.
