Council approves final plat for Quick Stop gas station at 150th and North Scott

Belton City Council approved a final plat for a Quick Stop gas station that consolidates a 0.54-acre lot at the southeast corner and a 0.22-acre tract at the southwest corner of 150th Street and North Scott Avenue for redevelopment.
Staff said the final plat received planning commission approval on April 28 and includes dedication of utility easements to accommodate existing utilities on both properties. “Lot 1 is proposed to be redeveloped as a gas station and convenience store, which received planning commission approval on April 28,” a staff presenter said. Staff also reported the utility easement on Tract A is wide enough to accommodate an existing water line on the west side of the property.
The planning commission recommended approval and staff recommended the ordinance with one condition included in the ordinance; council approved the motion by voice vote. No additional details about project timing or tenants were given during the public discussion.
