Council and staff thanked the crew on stage and encouraged residents to support upcoming community events such as a “touch-a-truck” activity announced later in the meeting.
The proclamation was read aloud and presented as a formal recognition; no separate council vote or ordinance was required for a mayoral proclamation.
Mayor Bustamante said the proclamation will be affixed to the city seal and recorded in the city’s official records.
