The Papillion-La Vista Board of Education voted May 12 to approve a three-year contract for Superintendent Dr. Andrew Rickley at a stated salary of $273,947.31 for the 2025–26 school year.
Dr. Settles presented the contract terms and said the line items include an asterisked notation for the district’s share of retirement contributions, clarifying the figure shown was the maximum under current assumptions. She told the board that state legislative changes to retirement contributions could reduce the district’s required contribution, meaning the final package paid could be lower than the maximum currently listed in the contract documents.
Board member Mr. Lotus moved the motion and Ms. Wood seconded. The motion was carried on a roll-call vote. The board’s approval authorizes execution of the employment contract for the three-year period with the salary stated for the 2025–26 year.
