New recovery community group Heart Hope and Freedom introduces services to Hart County commissioners

"My name is Leah Tolbert, and this is my husband. I'm Keith Tolbert. And we've opened up Heart Hope and Freedom, which is an RCO, Recovery Community Organization, to serve the community," Leah Tolbert said. She told the board the organization is a 501(c)(3) and is offering peer support and meetings for people with addictions, people experiencing homelessness, the jobless and others seeking recovery support.
Tolbert said the organization offers "an all recovery meeting Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at noon," along with NA and AA-type meetings and evening meetings by appointment, and that the group is located at "158 Chandler Street next to Corner Kitchen." Commissioners and attendees thanked the Tolberts for the volunteer service and encouraged community members to visit the center.
