The presenter reported year‑to‑date revenue of $48,312,349 and year‑to‑date expenses of $50,942,277, yielding a current operating deficit of $2,629,928 through April 30; staff noted that roughly 83% of the fiscal year had passed.
The presenter also provided collections-by-tax-type: year‑to‑date sales tax receipts of $3,554,080 (about 80% of budgeted estimate), meals and lodging and other taxes at varying percentages, and lodging taxes year to date of $1,199,768 (65% of estimate). Staff reminded the board that finance and IT staff would be out for Tyler software training later in the week.
A supervisor moved to adopt the resolution and the board approved it by recorded vote. No members objected during the meeting.
