County approves $755,882 in Cisco purchases for Justice Center construction and network lifecycle replacement

Separately, staff recommended a $429,000 lifecycle purchase to replace two core network switches in the county data center; that purchase will be funded through SPLOST.
Blanchard said the Justice Center work includes equipment, five-year licenses for switches and storage racks and described the procurement as essentially “a one-stop shopping of setting up our network.” Commissioners were told the East Wing is expected to obtain a certificate of occupancy in October, with the West Wing about a month later, tying the equipment deployment to the construction schedule.
Both purchases were presented as routine procurement items and approved on consent.
