Negotiators said they hoped to complete the work by July 1 and planned an additional two‑day bargaining session after graduation to finalize details.
Board members asked for the current tentative agreement (TA) and for a marked‑up version showing additions and deletions compared with the current contract. Staff said a TA was available online and that the district would provide board members with the documents they are allowed to receive under bargaining rules. Human Resources staff and legal counsel have participated in the process.
No formal action was taken; the update was informational. Staff said they are trying to avoid leaving negotiations unresolved into the fall and will attempt to bring a finalized agreement to the June agenda or a special meeting.
