Caroline County supervisors voted May 13 to approve two special exceptions that clear the way for a specialty stone countertop manufacturer and a minor auto-repair operation to occupy tenant spaces in a new building in Ladysmith Industrial Park.
The county’s planning staff told the board the site already has an approved shell/tenant site plan and that the special-exception applications apply to interior tenant uses in two rear-access bays of the proposed building. Planning staff recommended approval with conditions and the planning commission had forwarded both applications to the board with a positive recommendation.
