Police report: three suspects detained in marsh shooting, body-camera contract review and SRO funding concerns

"We’re looking to replace it — the batteries require more frequent charging than we’d like," a committee member said.
School-resource-officer (SRO) program: Committee members said the SRO program’s future is uncertain after a levy failed earlier this year. The chief is working with the school district and staff to explore options to keep a program in place.
Passports and court clerks: The municipal court will resume passport services beginning June 11; staff are planning a weekend passport "fair" and are revising county-clerk job descriptions to improve hiring clarity.
