Because election law requires updates at least six months before the election, staff asked whether the council preferred a double vote on the 19th or a special meeting to finalize the ordinance.
Councilmembers agreed to try to complete both readings at the regular meeting on the 19th if possible and to schedule a special meeting only if necessary. Staff also noted an existing voting-center change to the Fort Mallard Grill had been voted on previously and is understood by the city clerk (Stephanie) as part of the update.
