The Town of Templeton Planning Board accepted amended plans for the Compass Lane project on May 13 while staff and the applicant work to satisfy a Registry of Deeds requirement.
Planning staff reported that the Registry of Deeds returned the mylar because the plan did not include the 81X statement — the standard statement on a plan of land that confirms no new lot lines are created by the plan. Planning staff said the 81X statement must be added and the mylar resubmitted. An applicant-related payment of $1,800 was noted as provided by "Miss Tavano." Staff said they would secure signatures and deliver the mylar to the registry once the town chair has signed; one board member said John would not be able to sign until Thursday.
The board voted to accept the plan as submitted so the file could move forward administratively; staff said they will follow up with the registry and return with any procedural steps required. The mylar, when ready, will be distributed to the town clerk and the assessor per town procedure.
Planning staff advised that acceptance of the plan at the meeting does not preclude the registry or other procedural requirements from necessitating further steps; applicants were told staff will coordinate and notify them when the resubmittal occurs.
