Councilmember Sean Dietrich moved to approve the consent agenda; the motion was seconded by Councilmember Mason Scholten and the vote carried unanimously.
Separately, Mayor David Esis read and presented a proclamation designating May 11–17, 2025, as National Police Week in Reedsburg, citing President John F. Kennedy’s 1962 proclamation that established May 15 as National Peace Officers Memorial Day and that week as National Police Week. Esis said the city had sent flowers to the funeral of former public works director Bill Meyer and recognized Meyer’s long service while asking the community to support his family.
No council amendments or substantive debate accompanied the consent items or the proclamation.
