The Lawton Public Schools Board of Education on June 2 voted to approve board-appointed positions and to ratify a nominee to the Oklahoma Liquid Assets Pool board of directors.
A board member moved to approve the board-appointed positions and the motion received a second. The board approved the motion by roll call: the transcript records affirmative votes from board members listed as Miss Nyward, Miss Papagen, Miss McBride and Mr. Rice (roll-call excerpt in the meeting transcript). The motion passed.
The board then considered a nominee to the Oklahoma Liquid Assets Pool, a membership organization in which the district participates. A motion to approve the nominee was seconded and approved by roll call; the transcript records affirmative votes from members listed as Miss Snyder, Miss Fabrega, Miss McBride and Mr. Rice (roll-call excerpt in the meeting transcript). The motion passed.
The board also approved the consent agenda and personnel report by separate roll-call votes recorded in the transcript. The board moved the June 23 meeting date to June 30 to fall at the end of the fiscal year; the change was announced publicly and listed as an administrative scheduling decision.
