The Merced County Board of Supervisors on April 22 unanimously approved consent calendar items 1 through 20 following a motion by Supervisor Scott Silvera and a second from Supervisor Pacheco.
The vote cleared the slate of routine administrative and departmental items on the board’s agenda. County staff noted that items 2, 3 and 11 require a forklift vote as flagged in the agenda and that item 12 had been pulled prior to the vote. The board did not read individual roll-call tallies on the record beyond noting the motion passed unanimously.
Earlier in the meeting the board presented a certificate recognizing the Transportation Research Center (TRC) for four years of service at Castle Commerce Center. TRC director Josh Garrity was invited forward to receive the certificate; board members and Garrity exchanged brief remarks of thanks and congratulations.
The action keeps scheduled departmental contracts, routine grants, and administrative items moving forward while flagged items will follow the special-vote procedure identified in the agenda packet.
