Conway police say UCA-area shooting 'identified' as three suspects arrested; one person remains wanted

Lieutenant Kennedy of the Conway Police Department said investigators have identified all participants in the shooting near the University of Central Arkansas and that three suspects are in custody while a fourth is wanted.
Kennedy said the UCA-area incident occurred early on a Saturday and involved approximately 29 rounds fired from four separate firearms. One person suffered a gunshot wound, was taken to a local hospital and has been released.
Police named three people in custody: Landon Miller, 20, of Cabot, arrested the same day on one count of first-degree battery and one count of hindering apprehension; Braylon Griffin, 19, of Austin, arrested last night on one count of first-degree battery and one count of terroristic act; and Christian Van Wai, 20, of Cabot, arrested last night on one count of first-degree battery and one count of terroristic act. Police said a warrant has been issued for Zion Jackson, 23, of Ward, on one count of first-degree battery and one count of terroristic act.
"Felony hindering apprehension. If you harbor or conceal anyone ... if you provide them money, if you provide them transportation, if you give them a roof over their head, if you do anything to help them or provide us with false information, we will ask for warrants for your arrest for felony hindering, apprehension," Kennedy said, warning residents that providing assistance to wanted people can lead to felony charges.
Kennedy said federal, county and municipal partners assisted on the case, including Lonoke County Sheriff's Office, Jacksonville Police Department, Cabot Police Department, probation and parole, and UCA police. He said investigators have "identified everyone in this case" and that more work remains to finish prosecutions.
