Bonner Middletown Community Council approves up to $270 contingency for community cleanup overage

The Bonner Middletown Community Council approved up to $270 as a contingency to cover possible overage charges for a community cleanup, council members said during the meeting.

The payment would cover up to three tons of debris charged at $90 per ton if total weight exceeds a 7-ton base allowance provided under the county grant. "If you're over the 7 tons, then you have to pay $90 per ton," a council member explained during discussion.
