Adams County Veterans Service Department reports client activity, near-complete ARPA grant spending

Terry, Veterans Service Department staff, briefed the committee on April activity and grant status. “We had, 55 client appointments, 10 outreach and health and welfare checks, 534 phone calls and emails combined,” Terry said.
Terry reported the department completed a WDVA ARPA supplemental grant totaling $15,878 and had spent 98% of the award as of April 30, 2025. He described recent outreach and training: a CDSO training by the Wisconsin CVSO via Zoom and participation in local veteran commission meetings.
Committee members asked about operational details. Supervisor Hickler asked about a new doorbell policy; Terry said there were no complaints and a sign had been installed. The committee accepted the veterans report as part of the meeting record.
