Staff said, “Fox Ridge, homeowners association is applying for a variance in order to be allowed to put this, monument sign in the, median of, the road.”
The staff briefing explained that the hearings examiner — not the Planning Commission — will conduct the May 14 hearing, run the Zoom session, and issue the final decision. “He holds the hearing and the decision. So it's open to the public to come to the hearing. We'll have it on Zoom. There's a comment period that just opened this week that closes on May 7,” staff said. Staff also said the city planner will prepare a staff report for the hearings examiner as part of the record.
