During the appropriations portion of the May 13 Tippecanoe County Council meeting the council approved two donation-funded appropriations: $100 to the community corrections donation fund for core-wellness training and $100 to the health department donation fund to support the county’s annual community baby shower.
Councilman Murray moved and council members seconded both motions; each motion passed on a voice vote with no recorded opposition. The community corrections request was described as funding “for core wellness training” to assist with public-safety staff self-care, and the health department funding was described as coming from a funeral home to support the baby-shower event.
Both items were routine consent-agenda appropriations and were approved without further discussion on the record.
