RHS to host "Night at the Museum" Friday featuring student history projects

RHS will hold its annual Night at the Museum this Friday from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. in the gym and library, and admission is free, Coach Johnson said.
The program brings together social studies classes to present student projects under this year’s theme: “reform, reaction and revolution,” Coach Johnson said. "The Night at the Museum is an annual, thing that we put on together each year, all the social studies departments ... this year's theme is reform, reaction, and revolution," he said.
Students will choose projects that range from performance pieces to poster boards and PowerPoint presentations, Coach Johnson said. "They'll perform a performance. They'll put together a PowerPoint. They'll do a poster board with information on it, and they'll explain to the community," he said. The art department will also display work and offer demonstrations.
The event, now in its fourth year, is intended as a community showcase of student learning and creativity, Coach Johnson said. There is no charge for entry.
Organizers encouraged community attendance to support students and view projects spanning world history, U.S. history and other topics.
