Rogers said the first resolution would rezone multiple parcels including properties identified as 1098 and 882 Urbane Road (tax map 035, parcels 046.15 and 064.00) to I-1 (General Industrial). The second resolution would rezone property at 3485 Water Level Highway (tax map 05AE Group A Parcel 019.00) from FAR (Forestry Agricultural Residential) to I-1 (General Industrial). The third resolution would rezone 6933 North Lee Highway (tax map 010210 Group A Parcel 013.00) from R-1 (Rural Residential) to C-2 (General Commercial).
Rogers told commissioners that the three items had been approved unanimously by the county Planning Commission. He noted Bentley from planning was not present but would be available at the voting session and that members could contact planning staff with questions before next week.
No formal county vote on the rezonings occurred at the meeting; Rogers requested placement on the next voting agenda so commissioners can consider final action at that later session.
