Trustees move to executive session to discuss library director contract under MGL chapter 30A §21

Chair Marguerite Landry read the executive-session citation aloud: "The board will be entering into executive session per MGL chapter 30 a section 21 and not returning to open session to discuss library director contract negotiations exemption 2 as the chair has determined that an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the town's position."
The chair moved the motion to adjourn to executive session, it was seconded and the trustees voted by roll call to enter executive session; the board stated it would not return to open session. The board took public comment before adjourning; no members of the public registered comment at that time. Recordings and livestream were scheduled to stop per the standard procedure when switching to executive session.
