Resident urges repainting of faded yellow lines on neighborhood streets near Pine Tree Park

Bobrowski described an incident near her house where a passing driver crossed a faded yellow line to pass another vehicle and nearly struck her as she crossed the street. She asked the council to repaint yellow lines and add signs near Pine Tree Lane and Westlake and advocated speed enforcement.
Town staff responded that they were “feverishly working on that” and that the town manager and staff were coordinating striping and signage work in response to the bridge closure and traffic changes.
Ending: Staff will evaluate striping priorities and include repainting and additional signage in ongoing traffic-safety work and follow up with the resident.
