Mr. Rogers presented the CTE plan for 2025–26. Board member Beck moved adoption and Board member Rocket seconded; the motion passed by voice vote and the CTE plan was adopted.
Dr. Oden presented the second reading of board policy changes. Dr. Oden said the board had made several changes after a recent work session, including an edit to Policy 3000 and added language in Regulation 3400R clarifying documentation procedures and providing a link to an example contract for teachers. Dr. Oden also credited Board members Taylor, Rocket and Beck for contributions made during the work session.
Board member Johnson moved the policy adoptions on second reading and Board member Taylor seconded. The motion was approved by voice vote and the policies were adopted.
The policies were presented as final adoptions at second reading; specific policy text and the exact contract example link were referenced in the presentation but the transcript provided only the summary of the changes. Staff noted one additional clarifying edit requested by Board member Beck that was incorporated prior to the second reading.
