Medina City Council on May 12 adopted Ordinance 97-25, which provides financial details for the US 42 resurfacing project, job number 1151. City Engineer Patrick Patton told council the project covers US 42 from A. Homestead (sic) down to Lafayette, includes work on the square and pedestrian-safety enhancements.
Patton said the previous ordinance allowed the city to bid the project; the ordinance adopted on May 12 includes the financial information necessary to proceed. Council approved the measure by roll-call vote 7-0.
The ordinance completes the council’s authorization to proceed with the resurfacing and associated pedestrian-safety work; Patton did not provide detailed funding line items during the meeting but said the ordinance addresses the financial information omitted from the prior action.
