The Marshfield Utility Commission approved two unbudgeted job orders: an $87,198 rebuild on LEPB passing into Mill Dairy and a $124,790 three-phase rebuild on Roman Road, staff said.
Utility staff said neither project was in the original capital budget but that the projects will replace a previously budgeted rebuild so the team can address immediate operational priorities. Staff said the previously budgeted project (listed at about $272,000 in the packet) will be delayed and the two new job orders fit in its place, leaving about $60,000 for additional rebuilds the crew is pursuing.
A motion to approve the job orders passed by roll call with unanimous support, staff recorded. The items will be funded through the capital budget re-sequencing described by staff.
