The committee approved an amended contract with the Center for Youth and Family Solutions for care-coordinated services (motion by Member Lehman, second by Member Klein), an amended contract with the Center for Youth Psychiatric Services (motion by Member Burns, second by Member Abel), and an amended contract with The Baby Fold for intensive home- and community-based services (motion by Member Bridal, second by Member Friedrich). Committee votes were recorded as voice approvals.
Miss Landreth presented the quarterly departmental report and brought Kelly Amagoni, the System of Care project director, to answer questions. Landreth said the report covers departmental programs and Behavioral Health Coordinating Council activities, including growth in the Fuse program and a range of trainings delivered under initiatives with names cited in the report (RISE, Reconnects, Inspire, Supports and Empowers). She said the council has scheduled a youth-focused event later in the summer and a Behavioral Health Forum in winter.
Landreth described work on a behavioral-health action-plan revision and noted a recent partnership with Marisol Marketing to develop a new logo for the Behavioral Health Coordinating Council. "We're thick in the middle of" the action-plan rewrite, she said, and committee members praised the collaborative work, calling it "very exciting" and noting the Council's focus on usable goals and opportunities for agencies to seek funding to implement them.
The contract amendments were presented as administrative adjustments tied directly to the System of Care grant award updates; contract dollar amounts and the detailed award figures were not specified during the discussion on the record.
Committee members asked no further questions and the motions passed by voice vote.
