Council approves multiple reappointments to boards and commissions, 6–1 vote on slate

Councilman Jackson said he would vote no on the Board of Water and Light reappointment of Simone James and explained broader concerns about the Board of Water and Light’s decisions and accountability to the public and the Board of Commissioners. The final motion passed 6–1.
