Cranford schedules two public open houses for proposed downtown streetscape project

The Cranford Township Committee announced two public open houses to gather public input on a proposed downtown streetscape project as part of the project's public-engagement process.

Commissioner Miller Prunty said the planning firm Arterial will run two open houses: May 13 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the community center and May 18 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Eastman Plaza during the street fair; the May 18 session will move indoors to the community center if the street fair is canceled. The sessions are intended for residents, business and property owners, civic groups and township boards to review materials, design options, parking and public-space proposals and provide feedback.
