Another member said they "will be speaking to him" and that the attorney could advise whether charter changes or appointment adjustments are needed to preserve eligibility for school project grants.
The committee did not take formal action on charter language or membership changes at this meeting; it agreed to seek legal advice and to report back at a future meeting.
The committee noted that town projects beyond schools (for example, town hall) would not fall under the same school-building membership requirements, but that compliance matters when state grant funding for school facilities is involved.
