Attorney John DiMasi, representing the applicant, told the board the applicant received multiple reports from township professionals on Friday and asked to adjourn so the applicant's engineer could meet with the board engineer and so DiMasi could speak with the township planner and the fire department to resolve outstanding items. "It would be in our everybody's best interest to adjourn the matter so that we could have our engineer meet with the board engineer," DiMasi said.
The chair indicated the board would carry the application to March 10 and said renotice was not required provided the board made the scheduling clear to all parties. Board staff also told members of the public who attended that the March 10 date is the only additional notice they would receive; the rescheduling will be posted on the town website and files are available in the online filing portal.
DiMasi said he had also informed an attorney who represents several property owners of the adjournment. No formal vote was recorded on the record; the item was announced as carried and will return to the board on March 10.
