Commissioners appoint five members to Laramie County Board of Building Appeals

The Laramie County Board of County Commissioners appointed five professionals to the county Board of Building Appeals at its April 15 meeting.
Justin Arnold of Laramie County Planning and Development described the board's authority under the International Building Code and noted the appeals board had no active members. The commissioners appointed Will Moody (master plumber), Sean Casey (master electrician) and Jack Stottle (licensed general contractor) to three‑year terms, and Tristan Cortier (professional engineer) and Don Shoemaker (master HVAC) to two‑year terms. The appointments followed an open recruitment and the planning office's review of applications.
The motion to approve the appointments passed on roll call with Commissioners Heath, Hollingshead, Thompson, Zwonitzer and Chairman Malm voting aye.
