County to install regulatory no-parking signs on First Street in Carpenter near school

The board approved a resolution Feb. 18 permitting Laramie County Public Works to install regulatory no-parking signage along the eastern boundary of First Street north of Monroe Avenue in Carpenter, Wyoming.
Molly Bennett of Laramie County Public Works said the signs are intended to reduce parking impacts for local residents during school events. "The intention is to reduce the parking impacts during school events to the local citizens in this area," Bennett told commissioners.
The motion received a second and passed on a roll-call vote. No additional conditions were attached; Public Works staff will schedule the signage installation and coordinate any necessary traffic-control measures.
Ending: Public Works will proceed with sign placement under the county resolution approved by the board.
