The Clay County Board of Education voted to roll over existing custodial service contracts at Salonica School, Clay County High School and Hermitage Springs School at the current price.

Board members said the district had three options: roll over the contracts at the existing price, roll over with up to a 3% increase, or rebid. Staff reported the providers were agreeable to rolling over at the same price, and principals did not report service concerns.

Motion: board member Mister Sheryl moved to roll over the contracts for all three locations; Mister West seconded. The board approved the motion by voice vote.

Outcome: rollover approved; staff will continue with existing custodial providers under current terms for the next contract period.
