The county’s announcement said WISE is designed to promote positive health and health-care behaviors among older adults and that frequent attendance can improve mental well-being, knowledge and attitudes about aging, awareness of interactions between medications and alcohol, and recognition of early signs and symptoms of depression. The program is described as free to participants.
