The Elko County Local Emergency Planning Committee unanimously approved a proclamation recognizing Patricia (Pat) Anderson for years of service to the LEPC, Community Emergency Response Team and local emergency services.
The proclamation, read at the meeting, noted Anderson’s contributions to emergency planning and response and stated she had recently been elected to the convention and visitors authority board and remains employed at Great Basin College. Committee members said Anderson indicated she will reduce her participation in the LEPC going forward to make time for other commitments.
Daniel (Dan) Hassett moved to approve the proclamation; Shane Dazs seconded the motion. The committee voted in favor with no opposition noted. The chair said he and Daniel would coordinate delivering the proclamation to Anderson, possibly at a convention and visitors authority meeting.
The proclamation text included appreciation for Anderson’s dedication, partnership building and service to Elko County’s preparedness efforts.
