Direction: staff will circulate the draft interpretation to committee members for review and, if needed, the item may be placed on next week’s full-council agenda for final concurrence. The committee did not adopt a final written interpretation at the meeting but indicated the 60-degree slope cutoff is a suitable practical test to determine whether a sloped surface should be regulated as an exterior wall or as a roof/ceiling assembly for energy-code insulation requirements.
