“My name is Charles McCullough … I just wanna come comment on my problem I had, which was the little leak on my lawn. I think I had 2 when I glanced for 0, I had 2 leaks… Month later, I had an all leak on the lawn. It's my third leak,” McCullough said on the record, describing repeated breaks in a yard pipe and subsequent repairs. He told the committee that crews had come out multiple times and that a restoration was scheduled for April.
McCullough also said he received an unexpected charge on his water bill — “$75 extra” — tied to the leak and indicated concern about street traffic and the condition of Buckingham Lane; he asked about possible speed bumps.
Township staff responded on the record that the township will have its engineer review Buckingham Lane and that McCullough should provide his contact details to the engineer. Staff also said they had spoken with the water commission and that Joe Scamuzzo at the water commission would look into the billing question.
