The committee agreed to develop a compact outreach trifold and to pursue placing the committee's contact and eligibility information on findhelp.org, a resource-mapping site supported in the region by Emerson Hospital's community-benefits program.
Members discussed formats for town meeting distribution: a single-page trifold (8.5 x 11 tri-fold) that can fit in an envelope and be printed cheaply was favored. The trifold will summarize program eligibility, how to apply or be referred, and will include a QR code linking to the committee web page if a QR code is available.
Committee members demonstrated findhelp.org during the meeting and noted several local resources already appear there, including housing and financial-assistance listings. A committee member said they will contact Emerson Hospital's community-benefits manager to request a Concord-specific listing and to add the committee's information to the regional resource map. Members also discussed low-tech distribution strategies such as inserting a small flyer in prepackaged groceries distributed by local food programs and placing copies at local doctors' offices and community partners.
Next steps: staff will draft the trifold from the 2024 material, circulate a draft to committee members for edits, and reach out to Emerson Hospital community benefits to add the committee's listing on findhelp.org.
