The Concord Climate Action Committee unanimously approved its January meeting minutes and agreed to shift its regular meeting date to the fourth Tuesday of each month.
Committee business began with announcements and a call for a volunteer to take minutes; after brief discussion about transcription and the difficulty of capturing committee acronyms and technical references, a member moved to approve the January minutes and the committee voted unanimously to approve them. "We have, everybody is raising their hand," a member said as the committee confirmed approval during the meeting.
Members then discussed calendar conflicts with select board meeting dates and the practicalities of room availability. After considering alternatives, the committee agreed to try the fourth Tuesday schedule going forward so the group could secure a consistent meeting room and reduce repeated rescheduling. One member noted the challenge that many municipal and advisory bodies meet on Mondays, and the committee settled on the fourth-Tuesday option to minimize future conflicts.
Committee members also raised concerns about the time needed to prepare and post minutes, noting that back-and-forth edits had delayed publication for earlier meetings. The clerk was invited to interrupt for clarification at meetings as needed, and members agreed to try to shorten the turnaround by consolidating edits before posting.
The committee did not take additional formal votes during this portion of the meeting.
