The council opened a public hearing on the ordinance, received no public comments and closed the hearing before moving to adoption. Councilman Contract moved adoption and Councilman Damagala seconded. A roll call vote recorded the motion as carried with the council voting unanimously in favor.
The ordinance will be codified into the town code. Council members said the update is intended to reduce runoff and align local permits and plans with state stormwater standards; staff will process the codification and update permitting guidance to reflect the new requirements.
No implementation date was announced during the meeting; council members said the ordinance will be codified and enforced according to the town code update process.
